Iran determined to prevent massacre in ME: Rouhani

In a meeting with the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, as well as a group of officials, people and envoys form different Muslim countries, President Hassan Rouhani pointed to the recent developments in Gaza and the massacre of the oppressed people by the criminal Zionists and said “such events are outspoken examples of crimes against humanity” and called all so-called international human rights activists and organizations to put all the criminals on trial.

Rouhani added that “today the Muslim world confronts two ‘festering tumors’, one [the Israeli regime] is always a troublesome entity for Palestinians and Muslims; it has recently ruptured and committed wide massacre in the land of olive.”

“The other ‘festering tumor’” the president said “is a movement [Takfirits] misusing the titles Islam, religion, caliphate (Islamic ruler) and emirate (Islamic ruling power) who troubles Muslims and kills them.”

Further Mr Rouhani reiterated that the key to such problems was nothing but unity in the Muslim world in addition to defining the Islam of passion, peace and justice worldwide and distancing oneself from ignorance and prejudice.

President Rouhani asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has used all its power and facilities to establish stability and security to avoid massacre and bloodshed in Middle East. He stated that Iranian nation would fulfill this historical and great duty, in light of unity, solidarity and perseverance in addition to the Leader’s advises.
